About Me

Hello and welcome to my small little corner of the world-wide-web. My name is Michelle Dulock. I have always been someone who sees the world through a lens, creating and designing through photography, renovation, interior design, and/or organization. I am moved by beauty and am eager for my environment to reflect this through functional art and design. I received my B.F.A. in Photography from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2008. 

 

My husband and I owned a wedding photography business from 2008-2011 where we had the amazing opportunity to celebrate and capture the most beautiful memories with couples as they began their life together. In 2011, after my husband returned to graduate school, we had our first son and we made the difficult but necessary decision to put a pause on our business to focus on the new season of life we found ourselves in. Fast forward to 2022 and we now have 4 beautiful and amazing children and have moved from DFW to Abilene TX. The timing of restarting a photo business doesn't seem perfect to me but the Lord has been inviting me back into the world of creating. I am excited to be picking up the camera again to capture memories for families and dancers alike. It has always been a passion of mine...freezing in a single image, a memory, one that speaks a thousand words and will be cherished forever. 

 

A few random facts about me: I am a follower of Jesus, married to the love of my life, mom to 4 amazing kids (3 boys, 1 girl), friend, dancer, DIY enthusiast, artist, amatuer chef, and coffee lover. I am passionate about living intentionally in the moment whether that be coffee dates with friends or pausing to see the sunset...laughing until it hurts or rolling in the grass with my kids. Living life to the full in every moment of every day is where the Lord has me, growing me and stretching me.
